Acts Centre, Apostolic Church UK, was founded with a vision to bring the hope and love of Christ to the community of Sittingbourne and beyond. The church was birthed from a deep desire to create a place where people could grow in faith, find healing, and make a difference in their local neighbourhoods.
Our pioneering leaders, felt called to serve not only the spiritual needs of the community but also to address the practical challenges people face every day. Through heartfelt worship, practical teaching from the Bible, and a commitment to reaching out to our communities, Acts Centre has been a beacon of light for many, offering a supportive environment for believers to grow and reach out to others.
Today, the church continues to fulfil its mission of reaching the unreached, serving the hurting, and empowering individuals to live out their God-given purpose.

We’re a family-friendly church, and children are always welcome. While we’re working toward setting up dedicated children’s and youth programs in the future, young ones are invited to join the main service for now—we provide a safe and inclusive environment for all ages.

Everything begins with a personal relationship with Jesus. Whether you’re new to faith or returning, we’re here to help you encounter His love and start your journey with Him.

We’re uniquely positioned to support mental health and emotional wellbeing through the leadership of our pastor, a qualified mental health practitioner. Through our Professional Mental Health Initiative, we offer compassionate, faith-based care to those facing mental and emotional challenges.
We are proud to work alongside leaders like Dr. Gbenga Sofowora, the Vice President of Christ Hospital Ministry International, and Professor Joshua Boateng, founder of Ambassadors in the Marketplace. These ministries empower people in health and professional spheres while keeping Christ at the centre of their mission.
As part of our long-term vision, we’re planning to launch an After School Club, a safe, nurturing space where children and young people in the community can grow, learn, and thrive.
The Mind Care is an interdenominational project focused on mental health and wellbeing. Together, we’re creating spaces where healing, hope, and support are available to all—regardless of church background.
