We recognise our responsibility to safeguard and protect all those in our care from harm, abuse, neglect, exploitation, and inappropriate behaviour. Our safeguarding procedures are designed to ensure that concerns are responded to promptly, appropriately, and in partnership with relevant statutory agencies. Our safeguarding policy reflects current legislation, safer recruitment practices, staff training requirements, reporting procedures, and good practice guidance for working with children and adults at risk. It also outlines the responsibilities of our leadership team, safeguarding coordinators, workers, and volunteers. This policy applies to all activities, events, ministries, and services delivered by ACTS Centre, including children's work, youth activities, pastoral support, community outreach, and overseas missions. For any safeguarding concerns, ACTS Centre has appointed designated safeguarding leads who can be contacted directly.
